About Smartphones Singapore

Oppo R7 Singapore

All Metal Unibody

Metal materials in a smartphone is often a sign of a very premium device, and manufacturers like Oppo are always looking to put the best of the best materials in their smartphones. The Oppo R7 is just one of many devices that Oppo carefully designs to ensure that it lives up to the prestige of Oppo smartphones.

The body of the Oppo R7 is made with a single piece of aircraft-grade magnesium aluminium alloy, which is a very lightweight and strong type of metal. The all metal unibody goes through 48 polishing processes to acquire an elegant exquisite all-metallic body with a metallic ratio of 92.3%. Oppo has also designed the R7 with the artistic style of “lineism” that follows the subtle arcs and curves as that of a violin, creating a silhouette that is both ergonomic and elegant to hold in the hand. It’s a solid smartphone that’s both thin and lightweight.

The Full HD 5-inch display

A lot of smartphone manufacturers opt for the typical LCD display, which does its job well; but the Oppo R7 uses the far more superior AMOLED display on its 5-inch screen. Packing a Full HD resolution (of 1920 x 1080), the AMOLED display of the R7 delivers crystal clear images and texts and incredible color. The blacks seen on AMOLED displays are actually pixels turning off, resulting in a truly deep black; colors are projected with incredible high contrasts and richness – it would seem like your media is literally popping off the screen!

Improved Performance

The Oppo R7 takes all of the performance from the Oppo R5 and makes it even better! Powering this elegant smartphone now is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor that is clocked at 1.5Ghz. Your applications open and close instantly, your games load quickly, your typing happen without lag. You can even multi-task smoothly with the inclusion of the 3GB of RAM; switching between applications and letting them run in the background is a breeze for the R7. Heavy storage users will be thrilled to know that the R7 has 16GB of internal storage that is also expandable via microSD card of up to 128GB.

ColorOS - Oppo R7 Singapore

The R7 runs on Android Kit Kat (4.4.4), but Oppo has opted for their very own Color OS user interface over the Android operating system. Color OS is packed full of great features that makes your smartphone operation much more convenient; such as the motion gesture of drawing a circle on the blank screen to get access to your camera.
