Samsung Galaxy Note8 Price, Specs, and Features in Singapore

Samsung Note8 – The Best Just Got Better

Even prior to its release, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 garnered a lot of attention and anticipation from smartphone experts, aficionados, and netizens. The main question in everyone’s mind was whether the South Korean firm was able to regain its reputation after the Note 7 tragedy. Now that the phone has been officially released, it seems that Samsung is on track to regain the consumer’s trust with this Samsung phone, proving once again why they are the leaders of the smartphone industry. Below are some of the key features offered by the Samsung Galaxy Note 8:

Huge Display Screen with Minimal Bezels

The Samsung Note8 sports the edge-to-edge, bezel-free “Infinity Display” screen on its front, similar to the ones first unveiled on the S8 and S8+. The screen is the biggest version of the screen to date, measuring 6.3 inches, with a 2960x1440 QHD+ display that delivers sublime graphics. With specifications such as these, it goes without saying that legibility under bright sunlight as well as viewing angles are far superior to what its predecessors can offer.

Double Your Photography Prowess Dual Rear Cameras

One of the biggest upgrades seen on this Samsung phone is the rear cameras. Featuring dual 12MP primary cameras – both equipped with optical image stabilization, the smartphone is a phoneographer’s best companion for taking photos on the go. With one sensor on the rear taking wide-angle, f/1.7 images and the other taking zoomed f/2.4, users should be able to experience a commendable low-light performance from the Samsung Note 8, as well as being able to take a wide range of photo styles. A new feature called “Live Focus” has also been introduced, which allows users to take pictures with a “bokeh” effect.

Maximising the S Pen Stylus

The S Pen is – along with the raw power inside – the thing that differentiates the Note series from other devices in the market. The new and improved version of the stylus is better than ever, with 4,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, a more flexible tip, and a nice weight that makes it a pleasure to use. Some of the functions offered by the S Pen stylus include enabling users to write memos and reminders on the phone’s lock screen, create an animated GIF from your doodles, and translating more words in a single swipe.

Say Hi to Bixby

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 also comes with Bixby, Samsung’s very own virtual assistant, with the full suites of features enabled right out of the box. Besides Bixby Home Screen and Bixby Vision, Bixby Voice is also added to the mix, offering more ways for users to interact with the phone.

Awesome phone! It has so many features that can be customized and there's so many things you can do with the phone. Only problem is the weight due to my small hands.

A phone that does not dissapoint
Owned a Note 3 for 4 years and love many aspects of it. But once I bought the Note 8, the Note 3 suddenly seems so old and bulky. The Note 8 doesn't dissapoint. It's super smooth, fast, elegant, and excellent!
