Sony Xperia XA1 Plus – A Mid-Range Entertainment Machine

Sony has grown to become one of the most well-known brands in the global tech market today, manufacturing a wide selection of products including televisions, music players, headphones, and smartphones. The Xperia XA1 Plus from Sony’s Xperia smartphone line is a proof that you do not need to spend a fortune to purchase a reliable smartphone. This mid-range smartphone has the goods that can give high-end flagships a run for their money. It has a flurry of features that enable the Xperia XA1 Plus to be a mid-range media device.

Premium-Level Design and Build

Although the XA1 Plus is priced as a mid-range device, it looks and feels much more expensive than what its price suggests. The smartphone takes design cues from its predecessors, inheriting the signature Xperia look – thick bezels on above and below the 5.5-inch display and slender bezels at the sides. However, Xperia has made the corners to be more rounded for the Xperia XA1 Plus, making it more comfortable to hold for longer periods. This means that you can play games and watch dramas longer on the device without worrying about your hands getting sore.

Immersive Display that Befits an Entertainment-Centred Device

For a smartphone to be suitable for media consumption purposes, the least it should have is an immersive display. The XA1 Plus does not disappoint in this aspect as the device is equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full-HD 1920 x 1080pixel resolution. This translates to rich colours and crisp images, making it better suited for consuming videos and games on the go. At maximum level, the screen is bright enough to cut through glare and visuals will not be affected even as you tilt the screen. The XA1 Plus also features a Super Vivid Mode setting which further enhances the screen’s hues better.

Superb Audio to Match the Visual Quality

Apart from its immersive display, the XA1 Plus also aces the audio aspect which makes it a complete entertainment-centric phablet. The device has a manual equaliser that allows users to tweak the audio ranges to your personal preference. Otherwise, you can rely on the ClearAudio+ software to do the work for you.

Internal Hardware

To make the Xperia XA1 Plus into a full-fledged entertainment device, Sony has ensured that the device features a strong combination of internal components to deliver silky smooth performance. The phone features a Mediatek Helio P20 processor that is paired with 4GB-worth of RAM. Out of the box, the smartphone comes with 32GB of built-in internal storage that can be expanded to 256GB. Together, these internal components enable the smartphone to handle multitasking and graphics-intensive tasks without lagging.

The XA1 Plus houses a 3,430mAh battery that is sufficient to power the device through the day even through intensive usage on a single charge. The smartphone also features the Qnovo Adaptive Charging technology that effectively cuts down the time needed to charge the battery back to full capacity.
