Satisfactory Camera Performance

The Mi Max 2 boasts a 12 MP primary camera with a f/2.2 aperture and a front snapper with 5 MP resolution. Its rear sensor doesn’t come with an optical image stabilization but the device makes up for it by having many stunning camera modes like manual, beautify, panorama, and tilt-shift. On top of that, it lets you snap group shots, capturing multiple photos of groups so you can select the best one later.

More Efficient Hardware

The Mi Max 2 is just as powerful and efficient as other Xiaomi Mimax phones, as it comes with a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 652 processor. It also houses a 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB of internal storage, which can go up to 256 GB via a micro SD card. This smartphone also has a hybrid SIM card slot where you can insert a second SIM card or a micro SD card.

Gaming performance-wise, the Mi Max 2 lets you play games smoothly without experiencing any heating even if you run graphics-intensive games. In terms of call quality, the handset offers a remarkable performance; however, handling such a massive device may take some time to get used to.

Large Battery Life

Apart from its massive display at 6.44 inches, the Mi Max 2 houses a large battery life of 5,300 mAh. In order to fill up this massive battery, Xiaomi integrated the Quick Charging 3.0 technology into its charger to ensure you’ll get at least 22% battery in just 30 minutes.

Polished design

Compared to the Redmi Max phones, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 offers stunning design improvements. Its rounded edges, for instance, look way better in comparison to the original Mi Max handset. Aside from that, it has an all-metal body that is devoid of plastic trimming on the top and bottom edges.

In the rear side, you can find the circular fingerprint scanner and the 12 MP camera, while the USB Type-C port that is essential for data transfer and charging is found in the base. The speaker grilles are situated right beside it, housing a speaker on one side.

In front, you can find the gigantic 6.44-inch screen. Although this appears to be massive, still nothing beats the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 whose display is at 7 inches. Nevertheless, the Mi Max 2’s top and bottom sides have slim bezels. Lastly, at the top, you can find the ambient light sensor, the 5 MP selfie camera, and the earpiece speaker
