Xiaomi Note 3 Price, Specs, and Reviews in Singapore

Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Singapore: A Budget Handset with Premium Features

If you don’t like an iPhone due to its high price tag or the small display size of the Xiaomi Mi 6, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is a fantastic choice. This mid-range handset from Xiaomi appears like a larger version of the Mi 6 but provides a nice feel similar to an iPhone.

Elegant Chassis

First off, the Mi Note 3’s exterior is nearly similar to the Mi 6 with a slightly bigger dimension. It also looks good and feels nice in the hand due to its 3D glass back with a top-of-the-line 7000-series aluminum chassis. Aside from that, you can see a fingerprint scanner in front which is neatly placed inside a glass layer.

Vibrant Display

As for the display, the Mi Note 3 comes with a 5.5-inch display with a Full HD resolution and a 2.5D curved glass finish. Its display hosts a pixel resolution of 1920x1080 resulting in an impressive color reproduction of 401PPI. The Mi Note 3 has an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel which is resistant to scratches and has rounded corners at the sides. It offers decent viewing angles much like other flagship smartphones on the market. The Mi Note 3’s display also offers good readability outdoors and provides enough brightness that combines with its automatic contrast to deliver an impressive viewing experience.

Decent Processor

Under the Mi Note 3’s hood lies a Snapdragon 660 processor with 8 Kyro 260 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and an Adreno 512 GPU. In terms of memory, the device comes with a 6 GB of RAM and a 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a micro SD card. As for the software, the Mi Note 3 runs on the MIUI 9 which can be upgraded to Android Nougat.

Good Quality Photos

In the optics department, the Mi Note 3 has the same dual 12-MP camera set up of the Mi 6 which is situated at the back of the device. This camera setup includes a 12 MP wide-angle sensor and a 12 MP telephoto snapper which can facilitate 2x optical zoom. Fortunately, Xiaomi has also integrated a 4-axis optical image stabilization into the Mi Note 3 that helps produce good quality photos. When it comes to the front-facing camera, the Mi Note 3 boasts a 16 MP front snapper which is much better than the 8 MP sensor of the Mi 6.

Can Support All Cellular Networks

Huawei left no stone unturned in terms of providing the Mi Note 3 with connectivity options. Aside from having a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the handset supports virtually all cellular networks, from 2G to VoLTE. In addition, the Mi Note 3 supports 2x2 MIMO dual-band WiFi and has a USB Type-C port to quickly pump power into its 3,500-mAh battery.'
