Harry Potter Scarves and their Respective Houses

Almost all significant events within the Harry Potter story happened at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This school is where young wizards and witches go to learn about magic and how to properly use it. The school is divided into four houses which can easily be recognized by their colors.

Symbolized by the lion, the house of Gryffindor denotes the element of fire with red and orange being the house's main colors. To be sorted into Gryffindor, a student must value courage, determination, and chivalry. It is in this house where Harry Potter, Ron Weasely, and Hermione Granger is sorted in the first book.

Considered by the fandom as one of the most overseen house in Hogwarts, Hufflepuff is the most inclusive among the four houses. To be sorted into Hufflepuff, your main virtues in life are hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular disposition. Hufflepuff is symbolized by a badger with yellow and black as its main colors.

Founded by Rowena Ravenclaw, the Ravenclaw house is symbolized by an eagle with blue and bronze as the main colors. Like their founder, Ravenclaws are witty, intelligent, critical thinkers who values learning and wisdom more than anything.

Next to Gryffindor, Slytherin house is one of the most recognizable houses in Hogwarts with green and silver colors, and a snake to symbolize ambition, cunning, and resourcefulness. Voldemort, Severus Snape, and Dolores Umbridge are some of the many names you can find under Slytherin.
