News about Huawei Phones & Tablets

Chinese smartphone giants, Huawei first entered the high-end smartphone scene in 2012 and they are unlikely to leave anytime soon with their recent achievement. Huawei has just announced that they have shipped more than 10 million copies of their flagship Huawei P9 and P9 Plus’ worldwide – making them the first models in Huawei’s inventory to achieve this remarkable feat. Despite a slow international market in terms of smartphone sales in 2016, this impressive result has proven that Huawei’s decision to invest in international markets is paying off handsomely. The announcement was made by Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) in a press release released at the end of December 2016.

Huawei Singapore, Make It Possible

A Chinese phone manufacturing company that was founded in 1987, Huawei has always been at the forefront of manufacturing and producing telecommunication devices and systems. The products that they provide to consumers today include mobile phones, mobile computer tablets, mobile broadband devices, and home devices.

Huawei Singapore's Smartphones

Huawei Singapore has a variety of smartphones that are available for consumers to purchase. Huawei has a few different series in their smartphone lineup, their Mate series, Ascend Series, and most recently, Huawei has also been contracted to be the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) of Google to produce their Android flagship phone: the Nexus 6P.

Smartphones from Huawei tend to feature very elegantly designed bodies with a metal build or with very strong polycarbonate plastic bodies. They also pack very intuitive features such as fingerprint sensors and fantastic cameras. They are also reasonably priced and feature their iconic EMUI user interface.

Huawei and Google's Nexus 6P, Elegantly designed, pure Android

The Nexus line of phones is actually Google's own line of Android smartphones, but they do not actually manufacturer the hardware for the phones themselves. They usually get companies like Huawei to manufacture for them, and in this case, it is the beautiful Nexus 6P.

The Nexus 6P features a full metal unibody case that is made with aeronautical-grade anodized aluminium. Diamond chamfers bring out the 'visor' of the phone, the black glass strip on the back, to accentuate the powerful camera. All these elegant hardware is backed by a beautiful Corning Gorilla Glass 4 5.7" AMOLED display with very subtle 3D curves on the edges. The display projects a whooping QHD resolution that has fantastic clarity and sharpness.

But this phone isn't all about the good looks as it also packs the following specifications: An octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 along with an Adreno 430 GPU, plus 3GB of RAM and a whopping 64GB of internal storage for all your storage purposes. Moreover, Nexus phones run pure Android software - meaning that there is no extra third party options, everything is just straight-up from Google.

Huawei Mate S, Touch. Made powerful

Huawei's very own flagship device, the Huawei Mate S, is built with the company's very own iconic aluminium unibody design. The phone's beautiful gentle curve fits perfectly in our palms, bringing together the perfect combination of form and function. It also has a 2.5D contoured glass display which makes swiping from the edges of the phone a much more seamless and natural gesture. The display is also a 5.5" full HD AMOLED display; colors seem to almost pop out of the screen and everything is just razor-sharp.

The Huawei Mate S is all about the art of touching our smartphones. First, with the fingerprint 2.0 scanner, users of the phone can unlock the phone, answer calls, or take photos. The fingerprint sensor also acts as a navigation key that you can slide up and down on to navigate through your phone. Huawei has gone all out and even included our knuckles to be used as a tool in operating our smartphone; when the screen is turned off, you can use your knuckle to draw a letter on the screen to open an application, giving you immediate access. Lastly, the smart pressure-sensitive screen is built with Force Touch Technology; want to zoom in on something? Press harder. You can even weigh objects on your phone's display!

So what are you waiting for? If you are in need of a smartphone that is very well built and elegantly designed and equipped with all the latest features, you can find it all with Huawei Singapore.
