Michael Raymond Leigh Anne's Springett B-day ID Bracelett at 0.00 USD from Popmap
Michael Raymond Leigh Anne's Springett B-day ID Bracelett
S$ 991.60
This was a bracelet I made for and with the art direction of my friend Leigh Anne for her birthday. Given direction for the piece was the shape, name and a baby goat head. It was comminsioned by her boyfried Roy and her brother James. There is obviously only one of these but If you'd like to give me Ideas to run with, I'd be more than excited to make an ID bracelet for you or a loved one. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. He grew up shadowing his father Raymond Pereira on the bench, learning the intricate art and craftsmanship of fine jewelry production. from the day he could grip a pair of pliers, michael was working alongside his father, casting links, carving molds and turning precious metals into wearable works of art. Eventually, the music scene in miami captured Michael’s artistic attentions, and he left the bench behind for the bandstand, studying music at berklee college of music in boston. he created a fulfilling career as a musician and sound engineer on the west coast, but he never stopped making things with his hands. he often made jewelry as gifts for friends in his spare time and would revisit the bench whenever life afforded him quality time with his father. In 2005, Raymond passed way, leaving his entire studio – bench, tools and molds – to Michael. reconnecting with his father’s tools brought Michael solace and wonderful memories of creative collaborations with his father. Michael shipped all of the equipment to New York City and set up his own studio to revive his father’s legacy and develop his own distinctive voice as a jeweler. In 2011, Michael Raymond was born, a unique, provocative and enchanting line of limited edition fine jewelry that challenges our perceptions of function, form, beauty and adornment. the collections pay tribute to Michael’s father raymond and his partner donald beeby, using many of their unique molds and reinventing them in contemporary designs. Each piece is playful, yet sleek and simple, combining disparate elements, exploring the nature of man vs animal, or repurposing unusual found objects. “I get a kick out of using and combining different elements which normally would not go together,” says pereira. “I love to re-invent interesting objects and give them new functions or a surprising new sense of style. It’s fun to let my imagination create clever new uses for intriguing and beautiful things.” Every piece is handmade in new york by Michael Raymond himself and available on a limited edition basis. Animal parts find new expressions in bangles and pendants; missiles and bullets become earrings and charms; lollipops, porsches and barbed wire become rings. Discover a world of enchantment and a refreshing sense of style.

Michael Raymond VINTAGE GERMAN PUFF LINK Bracelet at 0.00 USD from Popmap
Michael Raymond VINTAGE GERMAN PUFF LINK Bracelet
S$ 495.10
Rare plastic vintage german puff link I found somewhere I'm not sure where. I molded the link and cast 24 of them in bronze. Each link is 5/8" wide x 1" long. Chain is 8" total in length. I used the connecting link from a mold I found amongst my fathers molds. Each link and connector are soldered together. If you had to hang off a building from this chain I'm fairly certain you'd be dangling there till help arrived. The toggle clasp was fashioned from four raccoon penises. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. Michael Raymond Seahorse Play Bangle
S$ 537.60
On the way to Key West for my annual B-day celebration. We stopped at Shell World in Key Largo. If you ever get a chance it's Magical. I bought several Alligator Toes/Hands and some Seahorses. The Seahorses were molded. The wax seahorses were joined end to end in 3's. I tried making the full bracelet all the way around but one wrong move would shatter it… and it did, a couple times. Michael Raymond Tuts What I'm Talkin' Bout Bracelet
S$ 1,176.00
My fathers Jewelry partner worked at a museum in Key West where the king Tut exhibit came through in the 80's. Needless to say, the world was a different place back then. Apparently he had keys and made a night time visit to "Borrow" a few items to make molds. Tuts crest was originally a pendant. I took the pendant mold and made them into chain links by soldering a tube on either side. I then made a chain link that slid over the tube. The two links are attached with a Silver wire that goes through the side of the link and through the tubes of the pendant thus forming the solid Sterling Silver bracelet. This one went to my good buddy Jona Cerwinske. Google him, his art will floor you. If your interested in one of these, message me and lets chat about it. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. I found a bag full of links amongst the unfinished projects left to me by my father. I'm not sure if this was a copy of some designers bracelet from the 80's or if my father made this from scratch. Either way, I reshaped one of the links to make it from an "M". I then made a box with an "M" on top in wax. I set 2 Green Swarovski Crystals for the eyes. Coated Blue chains were added for its hair one by one. The Bronze version has Black chain Hair with four Pink strands and Red Swarovski Crystal eyes. Michael Raymond Spider Bracelet with Magnetic Clasp and Locket
S$ 849.70
I started with an unmounted Golden Orb spider I ordered off the interwebs. It was treated and plated copper, then a Silcone mold was made from it. Once the mold was shot with wax, I was then able to manipulate it into exactly what I had in mind. The objective was to make the legs move up and down like the car doors of a Delorean. At the bottom I wanted the legs to meet in a magnetic clasp that would stay together even if pulled in one direction or the other. I also wanted a stash spot in the abdomen of the spider. I accomplished this by making a post that the top half of the sliding abdomen would snap into. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. Michael Raymond Chain Mail Bracelet at 0.00 USD from Popmap
Michael Raymond Chain Mail Bracelet
S$ 1,275.30
I learned to make Chain Mail and a bunch of other chain weaves working for my father in my youth. We would experiment with different wire thickness and mandrel sizes to give the chain a looser or tighter feel. I made one of these for me, my best friend and my girlfriend. Ours didn't have any clasps and were woven onto our wrists end to end. The idea for us was that they couldn't be take off. I had mine on for years until I got arrested for riding my bike naked through the streets of Boston. Upon being booked into custody, you must remove all your jewelry, subsequently, the cops made me cut it off, but that's a whole nother story. These shots are of the one I made for my best friend Ian to replace the one that he thrashed over the years. His original bracelet was made from his fathers photographic silver. I make these out of an ingot which was pulled through metal draw plates until the right size wire is acheived. The wire was then wound around a mandrel to form a spring. The spring is cut into individual rings. I then put those rings together one by one. It's finished off by soldering a sliding clap to each end. This is special order. If you want one, I'd be more than excited to make one for you. Click my blog to see how it's done. Contact me with your wrist measurements and lets get one started! ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. Michael Raymond Barrel of Monkeys Bracelet
S$ 636.90
This bracelet started off with a travel size Barrel of Monkeys set I had sitting around my studio for a while. It didn't go into motion until I found a full size set to make a necklace at a thrift store. I molded the small monkey. Manipulating the wax version, I made the two arms touch the body to form a link. 7 monkeys were cast in white brass. The rings that attach the monkes were made ring by ring out of Bronze. The bracelet was then finished off with my signature Racoon Penis bone toggle clasp. The monkeys areare 3/4" x 3/4". The bracelet pictured is 8.5". A womens bracelet is also available in 6.5 or to your exact size. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler. Michael Raymond Silver Double Scalpel Bracelet

This bracelet is made from an exact mold of the scalpel I've used to carve the wax of nearly every piece in every collection. Two wax scapels were bent to fit the wrist and cast in solid Sterling Silver. Tubing was soldered on the blade ends and along with a silver screw to form the hinge. The clasp is a pressure catch of my own invention. ----- About the designer: Born and raised to a family of jewelers in Miami, Michael Raymond Pereira, the designer of the Michael Raymond jewelry brand, was destined to become a jeweler.
