Mobot Singapore –A Guide to Choosing the Best Electric Scooter for Your Needs

These days, the wonderful electric scooters can be found anywhere as more and more people begin to enjoy riding them. Amazingly, they are well-received by both adults and children alike because you can ride them for fun or fitness. Ideally, the electric scooters are the perfect answer if you are looking for a quicker way of getting around without getting a license to travel on the road. When you compare them with the normal scooters, you will conclude instantly that the normal scooters are definitely boring. Moreover, they also look very outdated since they are designed for manual transportation and you need to push them around.

Obviously, there are lots of reasons for you to pick an electric scooter and ride to the fullest. However, it can be quite a challenge to decide the best one for you because all of the electric scooters just look the same to you. Hence, this is a simple guide that can help you to choose the best electric scooter for your needs.

Great Components that Make Up the Best Electric Scooter

Before deciding the best electric scooter for your needs, you should know that even basic components play the main role in enhancing your riding experience. In other words, even the slightest part can make a huge difference in its overall performance. Needless to say, these are the components that you should get to know so that you can choose the electric scooter that can suit your preference.

First, the wheels of the electric scooter is an important matter that you should pay attention because they definitely affect its performance. At the same time, you should choose the wheels that match well with their intended users. As an example, you are supposed to get smaller wheels for smaller children. Moreover, the large wheels are important for adults because they are there to support your weight and size, especially when riding around. Aside from making sure that you can ride safely, the wheels enable you to ride with greater stability. This means that you can ride to the fullest since you can enjoy true peace of mind as your electric scooter does not fall down easily.

Steering Handle

Next, the steering handle on your electric scooter is equally important as well because you use it to navigate around. Since the steering handles are always connected to the front wheel, this shows that the electric scooters are driven from the front. Most scooters feature adjustable steering handles that you can alter easily so that you can ride comfortably without much trouble at all. As a matter of fact, they should match your arm's length and height. Despite this, there are other electric scooters that do not feature adjustable steering handles simply in order to make sure their sturdiness and stability are not compromised. At the end of the day, you should choose the one that you feel comfortable to handle and ride.

Then, it is futile to ride your electric scooter if it does not have a working brake. In the matters of identifying good brakes, you should know that the normal scooters use different brakes from the electric scooters. Given the fact that the electric scooters travel faster than the normal cousins, they definitely require a more complex braking system. In fact, they are also different because electric scooters feature the brakes that you can find on a bicycle. Attached to the steering handle, the brake slows the engine and rear-wheel down as you pull its lever towards the body. Obviously, you should pick the electric scooter that you can brake comfortably and easily.

Standing Platform

When you are talking about the standing platform of both normal and electric scooters, they are mostly similar in many ways. The standing platform is essentially the part of the scooter that you will be standing on when you are riding on it. Generally, the electric scooter boasts a bigger and longer-standing platform since it is to accommodate the motor and wheels. If possible, you should check out the standing platforms that have extra grips that provide better stability when you are riding.

Finally, you also should know how to decide whether the motor is suitable for your ride. It is important to note that there are different motors that can cater to adults and children. The electric scooter for children usually houses 120W motor that can reach up to 12 miles per hour. As for the adults, the electric scooter can reach up to 30 miles per hour with its 1000W motor. Most importantly, you can always select the one with the power that you can handle.

Types of Electric Scooters

After knowing the important factors that help you to decide, you also should be familiar with the types of electric scooters. Generally, there are three types: foldable, three-wheeled and seated. As for the foldable electric scooter, it is very handy, especially when you want to store and carry it around conveniently. You will be delighted to discover that it is handy for commuting purpose. Like its name, the three-wheeled electric scooter contains 2 wheels at its front while another at the rear. Basically, it offers better navigation and stability at the same time. Finally, the seated electric scooter comes with a seat which enables you to sit down while riding. Since you are seated, you can actually enjoy a safer and more comfortable ride.
