The Nikon Corporation was founded in 1917 Japan Optical Industries Corporation in Tokyo, Japan. The company started off as experts in optics and imaging products and in the year 1988, the company was renamed Nikon Corporation after the skyrocketing of their success due to the innovations behind their cameras. Almost a century passes by and Nikon has surpassed most of their set objectives in fulfilling the expectations of consumers through the designing and manufacturing of products that are of the highest of standards of precision and reliability.
Now, this write-up will focus mainly on what Nikon has to offer in terms of cameras or imaging devices. We will be describing to you a camera as an example to give you an overview of what Nikon can provide you through their cameras. We will also include a lens to go along with the description of the camera. So, without the hassle of winding you up with more winding words, let’s get to the more important part of this write-up.
Nikon Digital SLR Cameras
We would like to take Nikon’s excellent D5 Digital SLR Camera to expand this first part of this write-up. Though a common DSLR Camera, the Nikon D5 features a 153-point AF (Auto-Focus) system that acquires and holds subjects as tightly as possible. This means, you are able to capture images of your subject with clean and crisp details. The standard sensitivity range of the Nikon D5 is an extension of ISO 102400 and with a spectacularly stable viewfinder, you are able to capture images at a high speed of 12-fps in a continuous manner thanks to its full-time AF and AE—which can sustain up to 200 frames.
Let’s take Nikon’s AF-S DX Nikkor 10-24mm f3.5-4.5G ED Lens as an example to brief you on what Nikon’s lenses bring into the picture. The lens features DX-format with an ultra-wide-angle 2.4x zoom lens with a focal length of 10 to 24mm. It houses a new developed optical system that has ED glass and three aspherical lens elements. With two-focus modes made available right out of the box and the Silent Wave Motor for that smooth and quiet AF operation, this lens cannot get any better! Also, if you like blurring effects, the seven-blade rounded diagram helps in getting that natural blur effect.
Now that was quite a read, right? But mere words would not do justice to the excellence of Nikon cameras and lenses. With a variety to choose from here, there is no greater time to equip yourself with a good camera to bring along with you wherever you go. You can check out the DSLR Cameras section, the Mirrorless Cameras section, or even the Accessories if you are stumped from making a choice.
Capture the moments, people. With Nikon cameras, of course!
